A Tale of Two Cities...oops I mean months!

As soon as we got back home from Houston....mommy started to feel a terrible pain and we rushed to the emergency room!!! The doctors there told her she needed to have surgery to get something called a gall bladder removed. All I know is we would soon be going back to Grandma's house because someone needed to help mommy take care of me until mommy got better!

But we couldn't leave right away because Daddy still needed to work! So instead mommy occupied her time by dressing me up and taking pictures while I practiced my new superpower...smiling!

But we were soon on the road again...with all my stuff!! Cuz what would I do without my cool new swing? My bassinet, my carseat, my stroller, my bouncy chair, my bathtub, my playmat...you know...only the essentials!!

Did i say cool? I think I meant SCARY! AAhhhhhh!!!! The Butterflies are going to get ME!

Daddy came to visit me every weekend. We were there for a REALLY long time! A whole month! I had a lot of time to learn new things!

Like holding my bottle!!

And I got better and better at that whole smiling thing that everyone seems to love so much! I just love those baths!!

My Great-Grandma had to spend some time in the hospital...

...but luckily I was around to visit her almost every day!!!

I also got to meet my great-Auntie Lizette! She came all the way from Hawaii just to cuddle me!! (Okay, maybe she didn't just come for me!)

And best of all....I got a new bathing suit and got to go for a swim with Grandma in the big pool!! (Check out my cute hat too!)

Oh yah, and I can give kisses now!! I love to give (and get!) kisses!

That was fun!! A big big bathtub!!

But after all the fun was over...it was time to go back to San Antonio again!! Wow my life is busy!!

My Baptism

Even though we live in San Antonio, Mommy and Daddy are still very attached to their church in Houston. So instead of waiting until they found a church they loved in San Antonio, they took me to Webster Presbyterian to be baptized!

I had lots of family around me, even Grandma Maria and Adele came from San Antonio!

We all got up in front of the whole church and the pastors prayed for me...

Then Daddy handed me over to Pastor Mark, who put some water on my head!!

And then he walked with me up and down the aisles so my church family could get a good look at me!!

Miss Linda and Mr. Freeman taped the baptism so I can watch it when I get a little older! Good thing too, because of course, I slept through the whole thing!
